Privacy Policy — RMZ Projects
RMZ Projects is an internal project scheduling and coordination application operated by RMZ Solutions LLC (“RMZ,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information RMZ Projects uses and how that information is handled.
1. Information we process
Google account information. When a user signs in with Google, RMZ Projects uses basic account information provided through Google authentication, such as the user’s name, email address, profile image, and unique account identifier, to identify the user and determine authorized access.
Project information. Authorized users may view or, if permitted, create and update project information such as client names, project names, addresses, dates, milestones, permit status, material status, and project notes. Project data is stored using Firebase/Cloud Firestore.
Google Calendar information. Calendar access is optional and is intended for the RMZ administrator. When the administrator connects Google Calendar, RMZ Projects requests permission to manage events on calendars owned by that Google account. The app uses this access to find, create, and update RMZ project milestone events, including dates, times, descriptions, locations, and reminders. RMZ Projects does not use Google Calendar data for advertising or user profiling.
Local device data. The app may store settings and a local working copy/cache in the browser or installed PWA, including language preference and synchronization state.
2. How we use information
Information is used to operate the shared RMZ project board, display project schedules, manage authorized team access, synchronize project milestones, provide reminders, and maintain continuity across authorized devices.
3. Sharing and service providers
RMZ Projects uses Google services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Hosting, and Google Calendar API, to provide the application. Information may be processed by Google as necessary to provide those services and subject to Google’s applicable terms and privacy policies. RMZ does not sell personal information or Google user data to advertisers or data brokers.
4. Google API data
RMZ Projects’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.
5. Access and retention
Access to the shared board is limited to the RMZ administrator and team members explicitly authorized by the administrator. Project information is retained for business and operational purposes until RMZ deletes or archives it. Users may remove local app data by uninstalling the PWA or clearing site data. Requests concerning access or deletion may be sent to the contact below.
6. Security
RMZ uses authentication, access-control rules, HTTPS, and Google/Firebase infrastructure to protect application data. No system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
RMZ Projects is a business application and is not intended for children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the application changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
